I'm Emma, I come from beautiful Nuremberg and live here with my husband and my two super cute cats. My roots are in the Ukraine on my mother's side and in Ethiopia on my father's side. But I was born and grew up in Nuremberg. Culture and family are very important to me, but also a strong, friendly environment in which I can remain ME and feel comfortable. And for those who are interested: my star sign is Aquarius.
In my free time, I like to spend a lot of time with my family and friends. But I also love being at home - which I occasionally redecorate - because I love our little house, our very personal comfort zone. Here I like to take time to cook and bake, cuddle with the cats or watch films or series with my husband.
Outside the house, you can find me in cafés and restaurants or shopping in the city centre - and not just in Nuremberg. And if time and budget allow, I'm always looking forward to planning a trip.
In addition to training as a bank clerk and a bachelor's and master's degree in digital business, I have already completed many different career stages. From the automotive industry, banks and management consultancy to software service providers. For the most part, I have worked in project and process management and have been involved in establishing agility in companies, among other things.
I was also a university lecturer for agile methods for some time.
And today I am finally a happy wedding planner and am glad to be able to pursue my passion.
I would describe myself as a very empathetic, honest and authentic person. Positivity is very important to me! I think you can always get something good out of a situation that seems daft at first. There's always a reason and you can only grow and learn from everything. This has also made me a very reflective person. I would also characterise myself as a very helpful, cheerful and motivating person who always goes through the world with a smile on her face.
My biggest weaknesses are my perfectionism, which I'm currently trying to turn into a strength, like a superpower, my penchant for designer things, chocolate and ice cream and my impatience, which sometimes shines through.
Fear of heights, especially when I can still see the ground, wasps and other buzzing insects, snakes, jellyfish and nasty fish, and the fear of thunder and lightning.
First of all, I have to rewind a bit, because I was both lucky and unlucky enough to be able to plan our own wedding. The planning began in 2019 and ended in May 2022 - much later than planned for well-known reasons. So I went through all the phases: from anticipation and motivation, to uncertainty and doubt, fears of failure and the unknown, to nervous breakdowns due to unplanned changes and ultimate relief. It's definitely no fun having to plan your wedding three times in total.
So I know every vein of wedding planning very well and know what is or can be behind it all. That's why I want to spare all you (future) bridal couples the challenging phases and focus on the anticipation! After all, wedding planning can and should be fun and involve so many great moments.
The latter were a great encouragement to me in our wedding planning and never let me forget what a worthwhile goal we were working towards.
The planning phase also held another moment of happiness for me. I was able to recognise what lies dormant in me - namely a high level of attention to detail and the power of implementation, a strong passion for authenticity and the motivation to want to make powerful moments possible with a lot of heart and dedication.
Coupled with my passion for organisation and communication, I was able to use these skills to our advantage! After our wedding, we received positive feedback across the board and people asked us which professional had been involved. This encouraged me to turn my experience, my skills and my enthusiasm for authentic weddings into a career.
If you have the feeling that I'm "vibing" after this little round-up, I would be delighted to hear or read from you! In my eyes, it's a prerequisite that you're on the same wavelength and can build trust.
Because that's what I want from my (future) bridal couples: a great planning time together full of openness, trust and joy, so that they can then experience an unforgettable wedding with moments that will last forever.
You are welcome to arrange a free consultation with me, in which we will first determine whether and how I can help you. I will be happy to help you realise your wishes and ideas for your wedding in the best possible way.
